Organiser information meeting for the Copenhagen Lindy Exchange 2024

The Copenhagen Lindy Exchange (CPH:LX) 2024 will take place on April 25th-28th, 2024. It is being organised by the volunteers in the Swingshoes association, and we are looking for new organisers to join the team that makes this incredible event a reality! Would you like to be part of the team that organises the biggest Lindy event in Denmark? Or are you just curious about what it takes to organise an event such as the CPH:LX? Then come have a chat with us at the organiser information event! Time and place: Monday the 28th of August, 20:45, Haveselskabetsvej 3A (during the Swingshoes Monday social) You don't have to commit to anything to attend the meeting, it is fine to just drop in and listen if you're curious! The CPH:LX is Denmark's biggest lindy event, bringing together hundreds of dancers from both the local scene and abroad. We do this to strengthen the local scene and create an incredible experience for the dancers of Copenhagen, and to show internationals what we, and beautiful Copenhagen, have to offer. We want the exchange to be an inclusive event that embraces cultural responsibility and appreciation for the art of swing dance in a safe and respectful environment. For the 2024 edition of the exchange, we want to put a particular focus on collaboration and connection between dancers, and create an event that puts this front and center. What does this mean in practice? We don't know yet, but join us and be a part of figuring it out!
