Co-host of Afro-Palace Live Sessions in London, Yo supported international artists and bands such as Ebo Taylor, Ibibio Sound Machine, Jungle By Night, and Yaaba Funk. Yo also played in Bangkok's renowned Studio Lam, in Tokyo and Okinawa with the highly respected collective of Japanese record collectors Tokyo Sabroso, as well as in Taiwan's beloved festivals such as Urban Nomad, Spring Scream and Tiger Mountain Ramble. His hand-picked selections have fuelled many a dancefloor into mini riots and are guaranteed to make you move. From the dynamic and bursting music scene of his hometown Montreal Canada to the far east side of the globe in Shanghai, Bali, Singapore, and Taiwan, Kuumoja has been following his passion for music through organizing events and Djing for over 15 years. He was part of Shanghai’s first Reggae Sound System ''The Uprooted Sunshine’’ and together with Funny Kreaturz crew, he was featured multiple times at Disko Afrika Bali, one of the best events in Asia showcasing music from the motherland of Africa. He recently relocated to Taiwan where he continues Djing and promoting various cultural & music events across the island.
