Hey Portland Blues Musicians and Dancers, Come Celebrate our new venue! Catfish Lou's has welcomed our Jam. Come dance to Groovy Musicians and and get some great food. Our cover is $10.00 = $5.00 goes to the band and production and $5.00 is yours to keep as a credit toward the delicious Cajun food at this venue! That's is right we are celebrating Ladies Night! ******** LADIES get in for FREE******* Who gets in free for ladies night: - anyone who doesn't identify as "male"? YES - anybody who identifies as a "lady"? YES - will gender neutral / non-binary people have the option to also get in free? YES - males who cross-dress / drag queens? YES 7:30pm-8pm beginning dance lesson rhythmic Blues fundamentals for live music 8 pm- 9:30pm 1st set (first 45 min. host band) 9:30pm-11pm 2nd set Features of our Dance Jam: - Easy sign-up sheet either online and on a big whiteboard - Easy membership sign-up with the CBA (ask us how!) - Weekly contest for jammers by dancer appreciation Dancers ~ bring your dance friends and favorite partners! Musicians and jammers ~ bring your axe and amp. You get in free for playing! All musicians and dancers encouraged to RSVP and share this Facebook event to play.
