7:00 - 8:30 pm: Why We Love It (El Abrazo)
We begin with a special session about understanding what makes a soul-stirring embrace—the most important facet of the dance. El abrazo is something uniquely inherent to Argentine Tango and is what keeps so many of us coming back for more.
*All Levels - Beginners too!
Saturday, October 21
1:00 - 2:30 pm: Get to the Point 3.0:
Footwork for Him & Her
Shine your shoes and stretch your ankles, in this class we get down to business with our feet. Body alignment and engagement for the foundational steps of walking, ochos, giros, as well as follower’s adornments in paradas.
*All Levels - Beginners too!
Saturday, October 21
2:45 - 4:15 pm: TANGO STRUCTURE 3.0 (So Systematic)
The incorporation of tango vocabulary comes from the understanding of structure, not the memorization of individual combinations or figures. The Tango Structure series illuminates how to think about and learn the schematics of Tango. This 3rd edition acquaints us with the ins and outs of Cross System and the often-missed vocabulary contained within.
*All Levels - Beginners too!
Saturday, October 21
4:30 - 6:00 pm: Sacada! 7.0
As we build upon the material in TANGO STRUCTURE… By popular demand and desperate necessity we give you: Sacadas! These are some of the most essential moves for building a beyond-beginner versatility in Tango Salon. You will leave understanding the dynamics and geometry of all manner of sacadas, ganchos, and leg wraps.

1:00 - 2:30 pm: Power Steering
Effervesce your connection with more tactile sensitivity and response to subtlety. Prime your core and extend your antennae with these techniques and exercises for pivots, ochos, and giros. Highly recommended before partaking in this next one…

2:45 - 4:15 pm: WHIP IT INTO SHAPE (Boleos)
“When a problem comes around, you must WHIP IT!” — Devo. It’s time for a 90-minute deep dive into “those kicky things” you see on the dance floor, finessing beautiful boleos from the perspective of both roles. We will whip it… whip it good!

You can talk the talk… but can you walk the walk? In this technique class on the caminada, we will practice solo as well as in couples. We will do drills, talk posture, weight placement, grounding, different pisadas, and musicality.
