Our shadows held us back, sabotaged our greatness, distorted our dreams, broke relationships, said things that cannot be unsaid and acted in ways which left us with regret…All the while asking for our attention, to be seen, felt, loved and welcomed back into the fullness of ourselves. On the outside we might mean well. We have come to believe in the masks we wear and present to the world. But there is a price to pay for this masquerade, our Authenticity. Eventually we get tired of pretending, pleasing, chasing love, validation, approval and come to a place where we realise this approach simply does not work and intuit there must be another way. Sometimes we are nudged strongly to see that we are living a constructed existence built on fear. Accidents, illness, break ups, job loss, can be wake up calls sent to us from our Soul, which really has our best interests at Heart. Truth is calling. Underneath the thin veneer of our social face lives another you, a hidden face with no name, no history, no story, no judgment, no beliefs, a you that is already free and always free as Awareness, as Presence, as the Life Being you are under the shadow dance and surface drama. YOU have never left you. This is the voice of your intuition, your Heart calling your home. It’s the knowing of Deep Love, it’s where clear Vision and Intention rise from, where your impulse to give kindness lives, where Joy shines without effort or performance. This is our Phoenix Rising, remembered, embodied, back in the driving seat of our lives. It’s not far off, not for some other day.
