We'll be celebrating the diverse spirit of Carnaval the whole weekend! Carnaval San Francisco is the largest multicultural festival in the West Coast, bringing together San Francisco's Latino, Caribbean and African Diasporic traditions. On Friday night we kick off the weekend with the one and only Brazilian Maracatu Group in the Bay, Maracatu Pacífico, they'll be heading to Carnaval Parade the very next day and will give us a taste of the Power of their Afro-Brazilian Drumming and chanting Plus DJ Veesh spinning contemporary Brazilian Dance music, Samba, Funk, Disco, Forró, Arrocha and more Local producer and multi-instrumentalist Izzy Wise takes over the dance floor with his incredible elctro dance music set, mixing influences from Brazil and all over latin America, keeping the Dance Floor jumping into the AM Join us for a colorful weekend of Carnaval Celebrations at Bissap Baobab, int the Heart of the Mission District
