Play Practice Apprenticeship Program: Open Call

Play Practice Apprenticeship Program is a great opportunity for performance artists to be involved in a international residential program, focused on physical training and artistic research development. During the 3 weeks program artists have the chance to refine their contemporary dance technique through daily morning classes with international teachers, while participating in three intensive workshops (one per week), each centered on different methodologies of improvisation and choreographic composition. Such workshops offer the possibility to approach different practices, receive new stimuli, develop your own creativity and learn from the direct contact with internationally experienced choreographers. The apprenticeship is not meant to be only an educational program: all students are invited to deepen their own practice, taking advance of the 3 weeks as a period of reflection and research through practice, receiving artistic support from the teachers and from the whole group. Collaborations amongst students are encouraged, as well as the possibility to share the results of the 3 weeks investigation in the form of a performance at the end of the program.
