"When you dance, you play an instrument: your own body. In tango, you play in duo with another “musician” the music that is already playing. But there is a subtle diference between follows the music and the sensation that you are making this music toguether. Everyone who dance tango knows how to step in the beat, but this knowlegde is unconcious. The “musician” is able to analize all the diverses lines of a song (beat, rythm, melody, armony, structure) and choose, during the dance, different emphasis, dinamics, play with several instruments, and the most important: to train your ear help you to listen the music of your partner."
