Playground Mini Music Festival & Embodiment Class

This Sunday Oct 11, join us for a SUPER SPECIAL event!! *****TIME SHIFT!!!!****** We will begin at 2 in order to avoid the chilly night!! . . PARKING INFO: Coming from Rt. 9 - Please drive past the house (which will be on your left) on Hemenway Rd, and take a left on Briar Hill Rd just past the house. Immediately you will see a big driveway on your left. Please park on the shoulder of the driveway OR the shoulder of Briar Hill Rd. After parking, follow the driveway uphill to the event. . . 2-3:30: Embodiment Class: Primal Practice with Aaron Cantor. Hailed as "the best movement class I've ever been to" by everyone who has ever gone. FEATURING live music by Leonurus - the duo project of Charlotte Malin (voice, violin, viola) and Daniel Wininger (percussion, voice). Participate in the class (recommended!!) or just marinate in the hypnotic musical textures . . . 4-5pm Tender Spot ***DEBUT PERFORMANCE*** The Valley's HOTTEST new Witch Punk band. Featuring the legendary vocal stylings of Marie Murray, guitar & bass riffs by Thomas Matherly, heartpiercing violin antics by yours truly, and Crisco (also of Bela's Bartok) enchanting the drum kit to do his nasty bidding. NOT TO BE MISSED!! . . . 5:30-7pm: KONVERGENZ fireside dance spectacular. Groove to the sweet and salty vibes of your favorite live improvised ecstatic dance band. . . . 7:15-7:45pm Nick James Tornatore and Ariana Zucker will serenade us fireside with their heavenly folk harmonies. I guarantee tears of joy and heartpangs that hurt. SO. good. . . . We will be outdoors fireside, but it may get chilly so bring blankets/layers/people to cuddle with. We will be up in the woods by the treehouse with limited access to the main house - please bring your own water and food. There is plenty of space for social distancing. . . .
