POETICS OF THE BODY

A JOURNEY INTO THE ART OF TOUCH AND MOVEMENT In this workshop we explore the poetics of the body and the language of senses, guided by powerful somatic scores. The journey takes us into researching and mastering different ways of touching, experiencing and movement qualities. Our presence is the place to work from and work with. Each episode is a journey diving into the poetics of Touch, Vision, Time & Tensegrity, Pattern & Fascia Pulsology, Sound & Synchronicity, Senses & Space. We connect, create, play and dance with our soulful bodies and embodied souls. Moving with and through the inner and outer worlds. It deepens and widens your skills as a dancer, performer, bodyworker, and sensorial being. You learn how dance and somatics can unfold between the sensing and the dreaming body. Through somatic scores, we connect deeply with the flux of changing energies, rhythms, emotions. Moving through inner and outer worlds, we read our bodies as poetry. We will work both individually and with a partner. We will change partners and explore dynamic group scores. We will play with eyes closed and open. We use no oil and work with clothes on. We explore the many layers of presence and connecting. Widen our vocabulary of touch, movement and body states. Let's dive into magic... Facilitated by Maya, with Dj Aeon 21h30: sauna & fire DANCE & BODYWORK TEMPLE The temple is a free flow open space where we play, explore and enjoy the fruits of the workshop. 'Somatic Space for the Enlightened Animal' is facilitated by Maya, with a live set by DJ Aeon. SAUNA & FIRE Enjoy the sauna, follow your flow, dance and play barefoot in the grass, surrounded by the exploding beauty of flowers of springtime in the paradiso garden, relax around the fire, stare in the gracious flames. Feel free to just be, to breathe, to share touch and dance, to sing, to play, to celebrate. Dive in the swimming pond for another refreshing spring celebration body boosting life-kick. FOOD Bio Quiche (gluten free option) are included in the fee. And of course vitalized water and a variety of tea, fruits, nuts and chocolate. PARTICIPANTS / TRIBE This workshop and temple journey are open for people with affinity with dance, performance and/or bodywork, who want to develop and deepen their art of touch and movement. We all treasure the freedom to be able to learn in a joyful atmosphere of openness, respect for people's boundaries, consent. Welcome! Contribution (all in journey): 95 euro - 135 euro (sliding scale). TEACHER & FASCILITATOR Maya Wuytack is a performer, director, poet & somatic therapist. Her teachings are informed by her background in dance and performing arts such as physical theatre, instant composition, contact improvisation, playfight. And in therapeutic and somatic practices such as cranio sacral therapy, thai yoga massage, flow massage, hypnotherapy and embodied human design. www.mayawuytack.com
