🌹 POLLINATE DANCE: LOVE & CONNECTION 🌹 Join us for a unique Pollinate beginning, where we will experience a mutually connected and incredibly nourishing embodied experience. We will begin with connective practices in Authentic Relating and then move into a more body-based warm-up. Using honest communication and bodywork techniques that incorporate Contact Improvisation, Thai Massage, and Stretching, this is an opportunity to come and luxuriate the beginning moments of entering into your body and connecting with others. 💗 Warm-up led by Brando & Sarah Monette 💗 8pm :: Arrival 8:15pm - 9:15pm :: Warm-Up 9:15 - late :: Beats with DJ Brando & DJ Journey Weaver ✨ closing soundscape with singing bowls and warming vocals by Ankati Day Aaron Brando On top of being our house DJ & co-organizer for the last 11 years for Pollinate Dance, Brando is a certified Structural Integration practitioner. He completed the year-long Anatomy Trains training with renowned anatomist, Tom Myers and has completed bodywork trainings in Thai Massage, Integrated Positional Therapy, Shiatsu, and Cranial Sacral. Brando offers residencies at universities and institutions throughout USA and teaches CI internationally. DJ Journey Weaver // Sarah Monette Inspired by a love of dance and connection, Journey moves your spirit and form through space with the push of beats and the invitation of melody. From organic world music, to ambient chill, to electronic dance, to deep house... each set is nourishingly familiar yet cravingly unique. Especially focused on, but not limited to, ecstatic dance events, contact improv jams, chill lounges, festival stages and guided movement workshops. Trained in Conscious Music Production, with a background in 5Rhythms and Chakra-dance, Journey has experience playing throughout the Northeast and around the world... providing a range of experiences from warm up morning flow to high vibe midnight peak. She loves traveling and adores taking dancers through a journey of discovery in creative expression and connection!
