Pop-Up Milonga on december 30th with DJ Jens-Ingo Brodesser from 20.00-02.00

Whenever de Danswerkplaats and de tangokalender is (nearly) empty, and i can find a really good DJ to come to Amersfoort, we Pop-Up. You're welcome to come dancing on this 5th saturday. In the style of La Roca: The best tango's, played by the best DJ's in the wonderful ambiance of De Danswerkplaats in Amersfoort. That's Milonga La Roca. The place to go to for every really die-hard dancer. Easy to reach by train and car (free parking), good restaurants close by, vibrant atmosphere next to the old town. The music stops earlier if less than 15 people are left. And if very busy at 02 we might add another 2 tandas or so. Entrance 12 euro. I am so glad Jens-Ingo, one of my dear DJ's will come back to Amersfoort and play his 'always on the floor' selection here. Warning: your feet need recovery afterwards :-) NO RESERVATION NEEDED at this Pop-Up, just put yourself on attending. Max 120 dancers. As you know La Roca is a place for Close Embrace/Ronda lovers. It's always extremely crowded. So i do expect (and so do all dancers) that you dance as tight as you can and no movements with a foot in the air. And ask with Mirada/Cabaceo. When entering the dancefloor (leaders and followers) make sure the leader behind you gives you space to enter. So please make contact first. Dear leaders, choose where to dance: inside or outside ronda. No changing of lines please! You might think you are good at changing lines when there's space, but think of the dancers where you suddenly appear where they thought they had some space. Don't give your follower big and/or upward movements. Followers, keep your feet on the ground and only follow the lead so your partner can control the complete movement of the couple. So we can keep the floor nice and 'quiet' and everybody will have a wonderful La Roca. If all of this isn't your way of dancing, i absolutely would like to meet you at other milonga's but consider La Roca as not your place to go to. Adress: Oude Fabriekstraat 20 (entrance via gate Prodent at Kleine Koppel 70 or via little gate-house at Oliemolenhof. Free parking: Put on your tomtom: Kleine Koppel corner Brabantsestraat. It brings you exactly at the right spot. Parking is free, walk through the gate towards restaurant Hoog Vuur and take the blue door on your right.
