And a second intensive with Natalia and our lovely Wouter Vervloet on the 12th of March for intermediate dancers! Within the theme of each class, the content will be chosen based on the level of participants. Each workshop is different (please see both descriptions) and will give participants an opportunity to work within small groups, with extra individual attention from the teachers. It will be a great way to learn to apply and improve on the things you have learned in class and/or Bal 'Damn! - Sunday, March 5th, 2023 (Intermediate+ & Advanced levels) Level: This intensive is for dancers attending Int/Adv classes abroad, with a recommended 3+ years of Balboa dance experience. Schedule: 14:00 – 15:00: Class 1: “Where are we at?” (A short Balboa routine designed to assess the level of experience of the group) 15:00 – 16:00 Class 2: Rotation (Turns and pivots) 16:00 – 16:30 BREAK 16:30 – 17:30 Class 3: Travelling (Moving across the dance floor) 17:30 – 18:30 Class 4: Partnership & communication (Responding and adapting to follower initiatives) 18:45 – 19:30 Pre-Party Class: Fancy feet (Footwork variations in pure Bal) 19:00 – 20:30 Dinner: Available (vegan or vegetarian dishes) 19:30 – 22:00 PARTY With LIVE music!
