Selena and I love social dancing Charleston. We are excited to share these ideas to a wider audience with a workshop, especially around movement, improvisation and musicality.
The workshop will be designed to celebrate the playful, dynamic spirit of Charleston while diving deep into its roots, rhythms, and expressive possibilities.
Saturday will be primarily for Int-Adv dancers and Sunday for Beg-Int dancers, but we are flexible as long as you have experience listening to jazz music, and familiarity with basic Charleston figures alone or partnered.
