Practica + Assessments

As we prepare for our next cycle of progressive classes, we're holding practicas with assessments for current or interested students. If you're new to District Zouk classes or want to move up to a higher level, this is where you can get feedback on which class is the best fit. You can also use it like a mini private lesson to get feedback on your dancing. Assessments and practicas will take place: Monday, June 1 8:15-11:00pm Monday, June 8 9:30-11:00pm Tuesday, June 9 7:30pm-9:30pm Assessments are an opportunity to get feedback on your dancing and on which class series would be the best choice for you. If you decide to do an Assessment, here's how it works: - the Assessments will be done simultaneously with the practica on the other side of the studio; - we'll call the people who want to be assessed in the order of when you've arrived and checked in. Each person will dance two short songs with one of our instructors; - at the end of the dances you'll receive verbal feedback on what you are doing well and what you can improve on, as well as which upcoming classes you can sign up for.
