Practicálly a Milonga! NEW MILONGA for Ventura County. Learn and Dance Argentine Tango!

SPECIAL EVENT! A New Milonga for the Argentine Tango Dancers in the 805 and the 818 and beyond. This is a first time Milonga for The Event Center and we hope to continue this as a monthly event. It's time to connect and dance. Gorgeous, smooth, sprung dance floor and I'll be DJing classical, nuevo and alternative style Tango's. 7:30pm Fundamentals of Tango class (perfect for newbies, beginners and those who want to work on their foundational techniques. 8:00pm - 9:00pm - Beginner/Intermediate class. This class is meant for those who already have a foundation of the basico, ochos, and molinetes. We will be continuing to build on the language of Argentine Tango. 9:00pm - Midnight - Milonga! The first hour will be practicá style to encourage the beginners to practice what they've learned. Hope to see you there! About Me: I have danced Argentine Tango for about 22 years. I began my tango journey in Miami, FL where I was fortunate to work for the Miami Tango Congress. With that, I was able to learn tango from some of the best Argentine Tango teachers known, including Juan Carlos Copes and Johana Copes, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermorcida, MiguelAngel Zotto, Fabian Salas and Carolina del Rivera, Facundo and Kelly Posadas, Carlos Gavito and Marcela Duran as well as many, many more through the years. I'm excited to host my first Milonga. Ventura County has a shortage of places to dance Argentine Tango so I really hope you will join us!
