PRAXIS Morning with Carl Aquilizan

The classes offer a small insight into my artistic practice, which explores different forms of in-between spaces — places where ambiguity and complexity arise. Using improvisation as a tool, we will work with transformation, ambiguity, and transcendence. The warm-up will consist of contact-based exercises designed to open up new impulses. Carl Aquilizan (they/them) is a Norwegian-Filipino dance artist based in Oslo. They explore decolonial and transformative practices from a queer and multicultural perspective, aiming to challenge Western norms and open up new ways of thinking.
