Project NFT Neolonga

It's been a busy time at Project NFT with our two events almost back to back a couple of weeks ago, and gearing up for 15 years of Project NFT on December 7th (save the date). Our event as the closing party for the Melbourne Tango Circuit was a great success, it was wonderful to see so many faces from our past, and the bar venue was reminiscent of our earlier Palace days. Thanks to Vahram and Noune for helping set up the space, and Campbell for designing the event photo and co-DJing, and of course the MTC organisers for including us. Our Halloween event, being on so soon after our previous one (3 days later) and the week long Circuit and on an unofficial long weekend could have been better attended, but us ladies were treated to dancing with some superb leaders attending Project NFT for the first time. We had Halloween cortinas, a few songs, a lot of decorations and some of us dressed for the occasion. Hopefully, next time more of you will be there. At some of our more recent events we have seen a trickling of faces we haven't seen in years, or those I have known from my tango past and have finally attended Project NFT for the first time. One of them didn't even know about Project NFT despite us knowing each other in our tango infancy 20 years or so ago, and living very close to the venue. It was a big surprise to see a couple who I knew when I was staring out and have been platonic dance partners for at least a couple of decades (I think the longest in Melbourne's tango history). After this Sunday, due to 5 Sundays in November there will be an extra week's break between events, so please do make an extra effort to try and attend this Sunday. Our DJ this Sunday is DJ Yury. Project NFT runs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month starting at 7.30pm, and is $20 (cash only).
