Project NFT Neolonga

After a run of well attended, even-ish gender balanced events, our last one was well, a little flat in comparison numbers wise, and unfortunately there was a disproportion between the gender balance. We still had a good time, but of course the best nights are when there is a more even gender balance. I always say it's better to go to a dance night with 10 people that has an even leader:follower ratio than 100 people with too many of one gender (usually the ladies in tango). At least when it's even, no matter the numbers, one has the opportunity to dance as much as they would like. I always fondly remember a salsa night I attended with only 4 of us (due to the Sydney Salsa Festival being on that weekend), but since it was 2 ladies and 2 men, we still had a great time dancing the whole night. We never know at each event who will walk in the door, but let's hope for a more even balance this Sunday (which means more gents 😉). A pair of black ladies tango shoes were left behind last time.
