Project NFT Neolonga

After a great start to the New Year at our first event, our last event was rather disappointing numbers wise, especially where the leaders were concerned. However, as is customary at our 2nd event in January, we had an international visitor who had been attending the Australian Open, who loved her night with us saying how friendly and personal it was compared to her home town of Vienna. Also, we all still managed to have a good time, with the few gents who were there getting around to dance with all the ladies, and some ladies practising their leading skills. I don't like to beg, but we do need more people to ensure the longevity of our events, especially leaders, so if you like what we do please show us your support by making the effort to attend. It's set to be a scorcher this Sunday. We will probably have the door to the studio closed to keep the space as cool as possible. We have learnt that the studio is no warmer on the really hot nights, or any warmer than other venues. No matter how cool the space is at the beginning of the night, the fact we are moving when we are dancing and the more people, the more body heat makes us and the venue feel hotter, even at outdoor venues. So dress in light clothes, pace yourself and bring plenty of water. If your car is garaged you probably won't even feel much heat between your airconditioned home and car and the studio 🙂.
