Project NFT Neolonga

We are half way through winter, and the days are getting noticeably longer 🙂. It's good that the cold weather is not deterring people from dancing. We had a pretty good turnout at our last event. It wasn't too bad gender ratio wise, but we are down a couple of regular guys who are wintering in Europe for a few months, therefore we can always do with more men as there can never be too many, can there ladies ;-)? We also had quite a few first timers to boost the numbers. This week I received an email from Karlis (one of our wintering away regular gentlemen), with some beautiful pictures from a tango marathon he recently attended in the capital city of his home country, Riga in Latvia. Tango marathons are something we don't get to experience here in Oz, but are very popular overseas, particularly Europe. I have attended tango festivals overseas, but not a marathon, which lasts a whole weekend and is purely dancing with no workshops or shows. Our DJ this Sunday is DJ Campbell. Project NFT runs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month starting at 7.30pm, and is $20 (cash only).
