Mzoukers are known through the Zouk world to be strong dancers, we are very popular at festivals due to our ability to lead and follow "almost anything". The secret? A well-designed program that has been developed and implemented during the last 20 years or so. Welcome to try a class to take your Zouk to the next level. This class is suitable for you who have a ground in Mzouk, but also another style of Zouk. We develop your dance in regard of: * Musicality * Refined basics * Leading and following techniques * Body awareness and mobility This class gives you a healthy ground for later on dancing outside your axis: Head movements, dissociations as in "tips" and "tips" and more advanced movemts, which we do in Level 2. ABOUT LILI Lili Ortizz has had dance experience since her childhood years and her native Colombia, from folk dances to ballet and later on Contemporary, Afro-Cuban, etc. Her dance teaching experience is from almost 20 years ago (Cuban salsa), with some breaks due to having children. Nowadays, Lili is under never-ending Mzouk teaching and method training as a member of the Spiral Dancers Collective (and as well as all other of its Instructors, teachers, and monitors). She has been teaching Zouk/Mzouk for a few years. Lili also loves dancing other Latin dances such as Bachata, Salsa, or Kizomba, and is a good participant in the dance scene in Stockholm.
