pureSALSA does Salsology

Finally I'll make it back down to Salsology now run by the wonderful Gillian 'Salsa Fix.' Why should you go? Well it is, and has been, the biggest salsa event in the north of England for years. Folks have always travelled from near and far (Scotland included) because it's just that good. You will see dancing equivalent, or indeed better than, a typical congress party. The venue is superb. You will hear genuinely amazing music. Also we can hang about and enjoy a pureSALSA trip! I know it's a Friday, which is a bugger for many, but I will be going back in the new year, and will pick a Saturday night. However I'm celebrating my return to social salsa ASAP! How do I plan to do it? The CHEAPEST way is to take a Megbus down at 08:45, getting into Manc at 15:25. Share a Taxi to the Hotel near the venue. Check in, rest. Head out someplace for dinner. Back to hotel to rest/prepare. Go dance the night away. Get up Have breakfast. Check out. Share taxi to station. Bus back to Dundee at 12:30pm getting in at 19:20. Typical costs: Bus: £24 * 2 Taxi: £4/5 each Hotel: £17.50 each (sharing 2 to a room) Event: £8 (if there are 10 of us, I get a discount from the £10) Total: £78.50 IF you want to take a later bus or train, the cost would be far higher, ie National express bus later in the day would be about 2* the cost.
