Randall's Birthday Bash at BAILA this Friday!

To know Randall is to love Randall. One of my favorite memories as an event planner is re-opening Wednesdays at the Shattuck Downlow, the place where I first met him many years before, on his ACTUAL birthday, and just seeing the outpouring of love the dance community has for him. He embodies one of the qualities I respect most on the dance floor: dancing with the goal to make sure your partner has the most fun. When I show up at a club or party, if he is there I immediately feel better and feel like I chose the right place. He is a connector, making people new to the scene feel welcome, and making sure they are introduced to everyone. He is the gentlest person you know, but in an instant will check predators or anyone who threatens to make our scene unsafe. Every event I throw he always offers to help, and often come early to BAILA to help me set up. This Friday it's payback time, and I finally want to give everyone a chance to make sure HE has the most fun. Please come join me this Friday, March 15th, at BAILA as we celebrate this wonderful friend we are all so lucky to have. There will be chocolate cake, cupcakes, live music by Rumbaché, two rooms of all night dancing with DJ Ron and DJ José Ruiz, cocktails, Mexican food by Los Cilantros, and ofcourse a big birthday dance at 11pm in the Bachata room!
