This holiday will open your eyes away from the tourist image of Cuba and give you an enriching experience and a profound understanding of the strong Cuban culture. You’ll learn how daily life is shaped with music, dance, religion, food and the importance of family; learn about daily struggles and how music and dance have given the Cubanos such resilience. Gain a better understanding of Cuba’s rich history and how the Revolution has shaped the country and its people into what we see today. Experience the local day to day life as we take you to places tourists don’t know about. You'll have regular dance workshops along with visiting the Salsa hotspots and live bands! There’s nothing quite like seeing a line of 1950’s American classic cars relaxing on the corner of Parque Central like it’s no big deal, casually waiting for you to jump in and breeze down the Malecon with the wind in your hair. The Sevilla was frequented by Cuban high society since its birth in 1908. The 1930’s saw the notorious mobster Santo Trafficante buying shares in the hotel while Al Capone and his Mob rented out the 6th floor while they were in Havana looking after their business interests. Rumour has it that there is a secret tunnel linking the hotel to the former Presidential Palace. Today the Sevilla is a simple hotel with the faded glamour and grandeur of the Mafia days. The atmosphere in this hotel is something quite special. It also has the largest outdoor pool of any hotel in Havana with plenty of space to relax and unwind (a rarity in Havana). A good sized gym, restaurant, pool bar, snack bar, live music every day and the palatial rooftop restaurant with fabulous 360 degree views over Havana. It also has an enclosed parade of shops running from the Prado to the hotel. Sevilla Bedrooms Bedrooms are furnished in a simple colonial style throughout, offering either 1 king size bed or twin beds and private bathroom, mini bar, satellite TV, hairdryer, safety deposit box and air conditioning. ⭐️: Los Jazmines 3-star, Bed and Breakfast Los Jazmines is a peaceful hotel located in a breath-taking location surrounded by spectacular views of the Viñales valley. It is one of few hotels in Viñales and the only one with an outdoor pool and facilities. It boasts a large patio and restaurant perfect for watching the sunset over the valley while sipping a mojito and marvelling at the ‘Mogotes’ which rise almost vertically out of the valley. Here you can see the Oxen ploughing the plantations and the tobacco drying houses. Los Jazmines Bedrooms All rooms are en-suite with air conditioning and fitted with classic furniture and flat screen TVs. Junior suite upgrades are available on request. ⭐️THE RAW CUBA TEAM⭐️ You will be thoroughly looked after by our very experienced, UK team who will be with you from the beginning to the very end of your holiday. Plus flights and the full itinerary as advertised. £1,899 pp sharing. Single supplement: £225 Please let us know if you would like a person to room-share with. Option 2 – Staying in a Casa Particular in Havana - Cheapest! This option does not include your hotel in Havana, you can choose a local casa of your choice, either independent or with a host family (we are very happy to suggest where to stay locally. You can expect to pay around £200 for this option depending on which Casa you chose) This option INCLUDES 2 nights accommodation in Vinales, flights and full itinerary as advertised. £1,445 per person Option 3 – No flight option We have a small number of places available without flight. If you would like to purchase a different flight to our pre-booked group flight you can discount the above prices by £590. DEPOSIT A deposit of £250 per person is required to confirm your place. Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. You can pay towards your holiday at anytime. The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations require travel companies to provide security for the monies that consumers pay for certain types and combinations of travel arrangements booked with them and for consumers’ repatriation in the event of their insolvency. We provide this protection by way of a trust account controlled and administered by an independent firm of travel specialist solicitors. All money that you pay to us for travel arrangements requiring financial protection will be paid into a separate and designated Trust bank account and will remain there until you have completed your contracted travel arrangements. This means that in respect of all arrangements requiring protection, in the event of our insolvency, funds will be available to ensure that you are not left stranded abroad or will receive a refund of the money you have paid for an advance booking.
