Rebel SBK Noches - Halloween Special with Sal K & Maribel Torres

BOooooooo:))!!!! It's that time of year.... It's Halloween!!!!!!! 🎃👻 And we really do have a treat for you!!! We're bringing you not one but two Kizomba classes.... With the talented artists Sal K and Maribel Torres!!! How exciting is this?!?! Of course this will be followed with our SBK Social with Andreas Ru on the decks!! ✨ About the Artists -------- Sal K -------- Sal (Sal K Green) has been dancing for approx. 22 years with a background in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Disco, Latin American and Ballroom. She qualified with a degree in Teaching in 2005 and moved to London in 2007. In addition to Education, she has several years’ experience Teaching and Coaching sport and is also a qualified Assessor. Sal began assisting Kizomba classes in 2015 and started Teaching in 2016/17, in and around London, a European festival and at various UK congresses in a partnership, then feom 2018 as a solo artist; until she relocated back ‘home’ to the Wirral in 2020. Her background and love for Teaching drives her passion to develop others, help people learn and share in a united love that is music, connection & dance. Sal specialises in teaching foundations for Beginners/Improvers, Leading, Following and loves bringing her Intermediate Connection class to events and festivals. You will find Sal in various locations teaching at different events, always with a smile on her face, as well as partying on the dance floor for hours. Sal is often supporting other Kizomba events and fellow artists because she very much believes "When people support each other, incredible things can happen", so lets root for each other and watch the industry grow, for alone we can do so little, but together we can achieve so much. -------- Maribel Torres -------- Maribel has been dancing since the age of 12, with Latin Dances: Salsa, Bachata & Merengue. As she was growing, her passion to learn other styles continued and she decided to carry on with her journey through Dancehall, Reggeaton & Street Dance, which led her to find out her real love for urban styles taking her to show performing with her dance crew. She began to develop her passion for Kizomba/ Urban Kiz back in Spain, where she had the opportunity to teach in places like Barcelona, but did not realise how special it was for her until she moved to UK. Maribel took part of Olympiads of Kizomba in London, which guided her to be one of the Finalist Best Female teacher of the year in 2019. She currently teaches & organises events in Manchester under her own brand: MCR UKIZ as well as teaching Nationally & Internationally. Specialized in footwork and body movement, you are not ready for this charismatic mamacita ✨ We have a great venue, bar, sound quality, welcome team, photographer and of course your host Andreas RU SalsaRebel.
