For more than 15 years, Rebel Up is a DJ collective of global, groovy, urban and electronic music from all over the world. With concert & dance nights in Brussels, the aim of Rebel Up is to spread sounds from the global underground. In 2017 Rebel Up became a record label for contemporary artists from allover the globe. Busy bee SebCat runs the Rebel Up collective and record label. He hosts various eclectic radio shows & sessions on Radio Campus Bruxelles, BRUZZ and Kiosk Radio. Expect a exploration of contemporary global sounds, cumbia from the americas, up to electronic bass hybrids and more. With special guest DJ Pinchado (La Boca, Argentina) hosted by Rebel Up SebCat & Leblanc DJ Pinchado hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, from the popular working class popular La Boca area (Boca Juniors / tango ). He is a DJ and producer, one of the pioneers of the Digital Cumbia in the early 2000’s, rearranging traditional music samples of mexican, argentinian, peruvian and colombian cumbia, especially chicha or huayno, amazónica and cumbia villera, all this fused with electronic and noise. He releases his music on his own Silbando Discos label, as well as producing compilations, released in different formats as cassettes, cd's and vinyls.
