Welcome to Ecstatic Dance in Houston TX! This Sunday, join Cheryl Shakti Ma facilitating an *EDEN dance called REFRESH! ******************************** There’s no place to be when you dance besides in your body, in the moment. There’s nothing to do besides go with the flow. Whatever else you bring falls away or becomes part of the flow. We learn to stay in present moment awareness. What’s happening now? What am I feeling now? How does my body feel moved now? How are the sound vibrations moving within me? What’s happening around me now? How is the space opening and directing me? What in this moment is engaging me? What just changed? What about now? We learn to perceive these things naturally, without giving it much consideration most of the time. We learn to refresh our thought patterns and redirect our flow spontaneously, according to what each moment offers, remembering that change is the constant. We learn to flow with awareness, curiosity, and adaptability. And we have a wonderfully refreshing ecstatic experience learning this together. It's a non-judgemental space so everyone usually feels relaxed and free to be themselves. Your free spirit loves to dance and you're invited to join in freeform movement arts, meditation, good vibes, artistic musical scores, nonverbal sacred space, creativity and exploration. We intend our dance to be welcoming, meditative, fun, and liberating for all. Events welcome all ages, experience levels, and newcomers, is multicultural, intergenerational, and family friendly. PAYMENT METHODS: Pay at the door: Cash or Credit DANCER GUIDELINES: Posted at the front desk. PARENTS: Children are welcome! (Please try this out first before bringing kids to make sure you approve) We ask that you keep a close watch on them at all times for everyone's safety. This is an opportunity to teach them how to be free and fun while dancing and respectful and quiet in the sacred circles we are creating together.
