Resonate Ecstatic Dance

This is a free form, barefoot, conscious dance. We dance sober and abstain from social conversations on the dance floor. Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to free the mind of thoughts and judgements and let go into the body's own wisdom. From this space of body conscious awareness, we invite all parts of ourselves to be danced! This is an expression of being fully ourselves and fully alive! No prior dance experience necessary, all movement styles welcome. We will open the evening with a meditation, then DJ Tara Ma will create an electronic tapestry of music styles to take us on a high vibrational journey! Flowing, fluid, heart centered beats merge with core opening tribal rhythms. Andrew Prue along with Cassie Djembe Kan Zito will be bringing the live drum beats. We will close out the evening with a sound meditation. Live painting with visionary artist Jackie Ryan!
