Nita Little develops, choreographs, performs, and teaches improvisational dance. She participated in the
explorations that became Contact Improvisation in 1972 and has been significant in its evolution and
development. She teaches in California and tours to Dance and CI festivals and dance centers worldwide. Mind in Motion, a dance curriculum she initiated in the 80’s, engages embodied inquiry and trains dance improvisation through the mind/body continuum. Nita is currently completing her PhD in Performance Studies at UC Davis.
Tim O'Donnell has been studying performing and teaching Contact Improvisation since his first CI festival in
1995. His teaching ranges from the gentle and subtle to the acrobatic and fluidly athletic. He holds an MFA in
Dance from ASU and has performed and shown his work through out the west coast, New York and Europe. He
has taught at the West Coast Contact Improv Festival, the Moab Workshop, Arizona State University, and
Prescott College and as a guest at the American Dance Festival. Tim lives and dances in New York City and is a
GyrotonicR Trainer and body worker. He is excited to share his insights and love for Contact dance.
