Rhythms of Cacao is coming to Lotus! Join us with @holywowcacao for a journey of ecstatic dance & joy on Friday, March 24th. Ecstatic Dance is an exploration of the Self, through music and movement, within the greater container of kinship and community! This is a practice of deep listening to your inner knowing, leading yourself through free-form “dance,” to an eclectic mix of music from various genres, eras and places all around the world! Ecstatic Dance is a form of Dance in which you are invited to use the music as a tool to let go and freely express your emotions ….. no matter what they are, love or sorrow, anger or bliss, sadness or happiness, just let everything out. The “ecstacy” of these dances comes through completely letting go and uninhibitedly being yourself! This is medicine. Follow your heart. Let go of judgment and control. Let the music move you. Let your body and breath be your guide. Find yourself in the moment! BE.
