The idea of ecstatic dance is to completely lend yourself and your body to the rhythm of the music. In ecstatic dance, you move freely through the space leading to a state of trance and ecstasy (hence the name ecstatic). In trance, many dancers find that ecstatic dance brings them into a deep meditative state. The dance floor is a safe space to bring your individual self to the greater connection of the community. A sacred space where is no talking, no shoes, no alcohol or any additives and no judgment, on which we respect each other and ourselves. Experience a safe space to release your inner dancer, to move like no one is watching. * Food, cacao, drinks, and drinking water will be available. ECSTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES ~ ⏩ The following guidelines are typical of those followed at hundreds of conscious dances around the world, having been developed through community discussions and agreements over decades. ⏩ Please note: This is a Safe and Sacred Space - drug, smoking & alcohol-free! ⏩ Be mindful of others' personal boundaries. Move freely in all directions/ respect all dance forms and the people around. ⏩ It's a Non-verbal journey / with no mobile phones. together with love, we build a higher vibration. ⏩ Be clean.
