Ritmo Latino London & Mister M Entertainment bring you part of 2 the second edition of our RITMO LATINO SUNDAYS BACHATA SCHOOL, This time with International super stars FRANK SANTOS & JULIE CAMOUS!! SUNDAY 26th APRIL AT BAR SALSA!!! 5 hours of intensive workshops working extensively on the Traditional style of Bachata! This workshop is aimed for those in improver level and upwards. The classes will be challenging but there will be team members present if you need help with the steps. The workshops will then increase in difficulty as the day goes on, so if you have to, you can then move down a level or stay and challenge yourself :-) WORKSHOP TIMETABLE: **11:30am - 12:00: Registration **12:00(Midday) - 12:15pm: Warm up. **12:15pm - 1:15pm: Traditional Dominican Bachata Brokendown: Footwork patterns & Structures **1:20pm - 2:20pm: From Bachata Moderna to Traditional Bachata. **2:25pm - 3:25pm: LADIES STYLING WITH JULIE & FRANK's MEN's COOL STYLING **3:25pm - 3:40pm: BREAK **3:45pm - 4:45pm: SENSUAL DOMINICAN BACHATA FUSION **4:50pm - 5:30pm: MUSICALITY FOR SOCIAL DANCING On the day there will be the "BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS ADVANCEMENT COURSE part II" which is a continuation of structured learning of the basics of Bachata. This is aimed at those high level beginners and improvers that want to take their bachata learning to another. The Improvers advancement course will be taken by Julian Mister-m & Angela Mariano with the Ritmo Latino London team at hand to provide you with some assistance if you need any on the day. ON THE DOOR: £65 with Frank Santos & Julie Camous £40 with Julian & Angela Frank Santos & Julie Camous have been teaching and performing their unique style that brings together two different worlds of dance. From the Dominican Repubic, Frank brings the flavour, the smoothness and the knowledge of Bachata Music, dance and culture. After a class with Frank your Bachata musicality will be easy to apply on the dancefloor. Frank Santos is one of the hottest talents in Europe and international salsa and Bachata scene. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Frank grew up in Italy where he started to develop his talent in dance. With a background in hip-hop, merengue and bachata, Frank started to dance salsa in 2001 and went on to study various styles including Puerto Rican, New York, LA and Cuban. He has taught and performed throughout Europe and beyond – in France, Holland, Poland, Latvia, Bratislava, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Israel, Brussel, Denmark, Sweden, Bulgaria, the U.S.A and Cuba to name but a few.Frank has made appearances on television and stage throughout the UK and Europe. His television appearances include the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dance Fever’ and the ‘Trisha’ programme. He has performed with the Leon Rose Project, Iris de Brito, Andrea Stewart and Irene Miguel. His achievements include winning the UISP Italian championship for Cuban and New York-style salsa in 2003, taking part in the Havana Club Tour and performing in Iris de Brito’s “El Barrio” musical. He is renowned for his dynamic, creative style and seamlessly incorporates this into his teaching technique – whether he’s teaching “On 1″ and “On 2″ partner work, styling, shines or most famously bachata. Frank’s current passion is working with bachata and contemporary dance to evolve a new style that fuses the most exciting elements of each.As an instructor, performer and choreographer Frank continues to make a significant contribution to the salsa and bachata scene. After seeing his work you will realise the drive, commitment and enthusiasm he brings to any arena. Julie's dance background covers a wide and varied range of dance style that she brings into her teaching, dancing and performing with maximum effect. Starting her career with Jazz, contemporary, Modern, Tap Dancing, Cabaret, Burlesque, Afro, Flamenco. She has performed with U-Tribe and its currently choreographing at Moulin Rouge.
