Born and raised in La Habana, Cuba, Roberto grew up surrounded by the rhythms of Mambo, Cha-cha-cha, Son, and Guaguancó — and of course, Casino, the traditional Cuban style of Salsa dancing. Inspired by his family and steeped in the culture of the legendary Tropicana Cabaret, Roberto’s journey from Havana to South America and eventually to Syracuse has created a Salsa family that now spans generations and cultures.
