Jive & Blues dance weekender May 9th - 12th 2025 All under one roof in the fabulous Derwent Hotel, TORQUAY This is a 3 night hotel based weekend packed full of Modern Jive, Blues and tasters in other styles. High quality workshops with world class teachers run throughout Saturday and Sunday. And 3 nights of social dance with simply the best DJs running late into the night - main room caters for Jive + extra entertainment, and a second venue offering Blues through to the early hours. We have Jive champions Matt & Sarah to bring you a wide selection of Jive workshops. Dawn & Lee offer further Jive along with other tasters (including world famous pyjama class). Flavio & Richard introduce you to Tango and Andy brings some Lindy Hop to the mix. And not forgetting the amazing Nigel & Nina showing you how to move on the Blues floor. Your weekend package includes en-suite accommodation for three nights in this lovely hotel. You get breakfast and 3 course evening meals with waiter service, and delicious food! Price includes all workshops and evening dances (including entertainment), and full use of the hotel facilities including swimming pool.
