Roda de Feijoada

February 2nd is a day for celebration on the sea and with samba too! It’s Iemanjá’s day, the great mother, lady of the waters, mother of the orixás, protector of the family and of all who turn to her. Odo Iyá! To celebrate this important date for Afro-Brazilian culture, the community of Ilê Obá Silekè will perform a tribute to this orixá at the Roda de Feijoada. Our special guests are the friends from Samba de Sarjeta. About Ilê: The first and only Candomblé house in Germany, founded by Babalorixá Murah Soares.
