ABQ Freedom Dance presents… Roses Are Red! This is an ecstatic dance event for people who want to feel celebrated this Valentine's Day through the medicine of movement. At Freedom Dance, we believe that the deepest forms of self love can be discovered through movement & community. We can promise you both at this gathering! Our intention is to provide a space for exploration of movement that cultivates a deep inner ecstasy, hence the term “ecstatic dance”. Using the power of intentionally selected music, we will create a container that holds the energy of celebration, goofiness, laughter, fun, & authentic connection on the dance floor. For this dance you can expect a full range of music from groovy tunes like Madonna & Elvis, along with bouncy house music, upbeat early 2000s r&b & more!
