RP LL - Keenan McKenzie Album Sneak Peek - Forged in Rhythm

Come get an exclusive sneak peek/listen to Keenan McKenzie’s new album of original swing music! Keenan is a Triangle jazz musician and swing dancer who has performed with bands like the Mint Julep Jazz Band, Michael Gamble and the Rhythm Serenaders, the Jonathan Stout Orchestra, and leads a swing band under his own name. Keenan is releasing “Forged in Rhythm,” his debut album of original tunes, in December and will be performing them live with a band of ace musicians for your dancing pleasure at the RDU Rent Party/Lindy Lab dance on November 30 – come hear these songs before anyone else does! The lineup for this show is Keenan McKenzie (reeds), Lucian Cobb (trombone), Paul Rogers (trumpet), Chip Newton (guitar), Jim Crew (piano), Aaron Gross (bass), Stephen Coffman (drums), and Laura Windley (vocals). 8 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. – dance in The Lindy Lab back studio (with the orange door frame) at Triangle Dance Studio. Admission is pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $10.00.
