Rueda Caleidoscopio (llanta & torno)

We're excited to be kicking off the New Year with a workshop exploring different rueda structures, starting with caleidoscopio and llanta! Some of you have had a small taste of the excitement (and occasional chaos) created by changing the orientation of the rueda, but if you're unsure what to expect then take a look at this video of caleidoscopio (including some llanta) and see whether you can spot Meg & Jim! https://youtu.be/0CAFWLmrdpc?si=CGBhvgnC-Xpdb8_x This workshop is aimed at intermediate (and above) rueda dancers. Both leaders and followers play an active role in the rueda. If you're not sure whether you're the right level then just ask 🙂 No prior experience of different rueda structures is necessary: We will teach/revise the basics of caleidoscopio and llanta and then expand on the opportunities available in each type of rueda, including different ways of moving and changing within the structures. The cost is £12 for the workshop. Because an even number of couples is necessary for this structure, BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. Initially 6 follow and 6 lead spaces are available: Your spot is considered booked when paid for. We will operate a waiting list and expand the numbers if we have sufficient interest, so don't panic if we say you're on the waiting list!
