Rueda Dominó y Espejo

Rueda Dominó describes a way of modifying rueda transitions so that dancers don't all carry out the move at the same time, instead transitioning between figures one after another creating a domino effect! It is a simple, but effective way to make a rueda flow in a different way. Espejo means mirror 🪞, and that's what rueda espejo does: Everything that you know, but as a mirror image (instantly doubling your repertoire of figures to dance free-style!) Sounds simple? You'll be surprised at how difficult it is 🤯 For this workshop we have decided to introduce two different smaller concepts instead of work on one big idea. Obviously we wouldn't dream of combining them... Would we? This workshop is aimed at intermediate and advanced rueda dancers. If you're not sure whether you're able to join us then just ask Meg or Jim! Never done Dominó or Espejo before? No problem! We will introduce both of these concepts from the ground up, building confidence and mastery of each idea. Do I have to pre-book this workshop? YES! We do require even numbers of leaders and followers (who both play a very active role in Dominó rueda!) Therefore initially a restricted number of leader and follower passes will be made available, and a waiting list will operate. We will expand passes when we have enough participants to add another couple. What if I'm not sure about my level?
