Rueda for Salsa Dancers! FREE Intro & More on Feb. 1st! (Houston, TX)

Our first 90-minute Rueda workshop is FREE -- plus you can try another one for only $15! Join us February 1st when SALSA GRANDE will teach the first two Levels of its fun workshops for learning the "Rueda" format of dancing Salsa with a group of friends. And, yes, the first 90-minute workshop is absolutely FREE, with no catch! After that, you have the option to try a second workshop at only $15. If you stay with us for Sunday afternoon, then you will get a total of two workshops with 3 hours of dancing (and more than a dozen Rueda moves) for only $15! This is truly the BEST DEAL IN TEXAS when it comes to learning Rueda! All we require is that the dancers should already have Salsa partnering skills at an Intermediate level or above. So, while this is an introduction to Rueda, these workshops go at a fast pace and they are *not* a substitute for a beginner Salsa class. These Rueda workshops will be taught off of 610 South (not far from Bellaire, the Medical Center, and NRG Stadium). Lead instructor Michael Whitmire has been dancing and performing Casino/Salsa Rueda for over 20 years, including multiple appearances for television, Latin festivals, and other special events in Texas and California. He makes every effort to break down the moves and techniques in an easily understandable fashion. You don't need to bring a partner, but for planning purposes it does help us to know in advance if you are coming.
