Rueda Vacation Cozumel 2026

Rueda Vacation Cozumel is a unique annual one week dance program, that our Rueda Family of Friends builds their Caribbean island vacations around. Rueda Vacation is specifically designed for INTERMEDIATE AND ABOVE LEVEL RUEDA DANCERS as described by The Rueda Standard classifications of: Beginner, Improver, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert. There are no Beginner or Improver level workshops. For most dancers, this means 3 or more years of consistent Rueda dancing experience. Many of our “Usual Suspects” have 10+ years experience and return each year. If you are unsure of your level, please discuss with Dave Mahoney before you register. This year the workshops will again be lead by well known international Instructors to explore the newest ideas and trends in Rueda de Casino. This 7th edition of Rueda Vacation will have a minimum of 20 hours of workshops over 5 days, Nightly Sunset Ruedas on the Malecon, 2 Beach days, (The Rueda Snorkel Tour to “El Cielo”, and a separate Remote Beach Bar afternoon lunch), a chance to integrate with my lovely dance community “Cozumel Salsa Fusión” and dancing to live music in local clubs. Our first meetup will be a Group Dinner from 4-7 followed by Sunset Rueda at the Asta bandera on the Malecón Sunday 15 March. Our final party will be Saturday night 21 March. Dress code: “Caribbean Elegance”. Participants will also receive “VIP shuttle service” to and from your accommodations from CZM airport or the CZM Ferry terminal. Early registration price - $140 USD per person. Registration starts October 19 at 1:00pm EST - November 23 at 1:00pm EST. Rueda Vacation Regular price: $150 per person, from November 23. Sales end March 7, 2026 or when all tickets are sold. I will keep a waiting list if for any reason a ticket becomes available. The optional Rueda Snorkel Tour to "El Cielo" is offered as a separate add-on ticket. $55. This small event (40 dancers) sells out quickly.
