Rueda Weekend with Sassan & Helen

To secure your spot follow all the instructions at the bottom of this post. *** Odense Salsaforening invites you to a wonderful weekend of Rueda with Sassan & Helen of Rueda de Casino Berlin (https://www.facebook.com/RuedaDeCasinoBerlin & https://www.instagram.com/rueda_de_casino_berlin/). Sassan & Helen are passionate about creating flow and fun in ruedas and will teach us in the style of caminando, continually rotating circles. We will also get to grips with TOCADOF calling (Transition Oriented Calling And Developing Of Figures) to allow more creative freedom within the flow and the concept of active followers, where follows contribute as much to the figures at the leaders do. Minimum 8 hours of workshops and time for Rueda Playground/caller practice, party, social dancing and hyggetid, tea and coffee during pauses all for one price, 450kr. Level Requirements: For improvers and above. - You must be comfortable with the following commands: dame, dame dos, directo, dame arriba, enchufla, la prima. - You must be aware of and able to work with the Berlin Style Concept/rules: - Caminando (rotating circles) - Active following - TOCADOF style calling In doubt about your level talk to Nic or Mikael. :-) Improver in salsa but new to Rueda? Programme: 4th February 11:00-13:00 Workshop 1 - Technique for all with Sassan & Helen 13:00-14:00 Lunch 14:00-15:00 Workshop 2 - Group A - Paseos with Sassan/Group B - Patin Party with Helen 15:00-15:30 Coffee Pause 15:30-16:30 Workshop 3 - Group A - Patin Party with Helen/Group B - Paseos with Sassan 16:30-17:30 Rueda Playground/caller practice 20:00 - 00:00 Fest with sensual lounge. 5th February 11:00-12:00 Workshop 4 - Rueda Power Technique for all with Sassan & Helen 12:00-12:15 Short pause 12:15-13:30 Workshop 5 - Group A - Super Guapea with Sassan/Group B - Tumba Francesa Party with Helen 13:30-14:30 Lunch 14:30-15:45 Workshop 6 - Group A - Tumba Francesa Party with Helen/Group B - Super Guepea with Sassan 15:45-16:15 Coffee Pause 16:15-16:45 Workshop 7 - Bringing it all together for all 16:45-20:00 Hyggetid with possibility for social dancing. We will place a food order during the coffee break for those that would like something to eat during the hyggetid. About group distribution: Not everyone learns at the same speed or in the same manner and in order for everyone to get the most out of the workshops we need to divide people into groups according to how quickly and precisely they can apply new information. During the first workshop on each day you will be assessed based on this criteria to create two groups with similar learning speeds.
