We are very happy to welcome Ruth Manonellas & Andreas Erbsen, directors of El Tacuari Tango (Buenos Aires), to Amsterdam for a special weekend of workshops.
Ruth and Andreas have been a fundamental pillar in our tango journey and we are truly excited to share their depth of knowledge, clarity, and unique approach with all of you.
This will also be our last workshop series for the next 3 months, as we will be traveling, so we warmly invite you to take this opportunity to join and enjoy these classes with them.

Workshop 1: TECHNIQUE FOR BOTH ROLES – 14:00 to 15:15
Axis, disassociation, embrace, partner connection, walking and movement quality in space.
Break – 15:15 to 15:30
Workshop 2: TURN DYNAMICS – 15:30 to 16:45
Exploring giros through different elements: arrastres, voleos, ganchos, enrosques and sacadas.
Break – 16:45 to 17:00
Workshop 3: TANGO FANTASÍA SEQUENCES – 17:00 to 18:15
Discover elegant and creative tango sequences inspired by the great masters of Argentine Tango.Through turns, changes of direction, pauses, and interconnected combinations, we will explore tools that can enrich your dancing and expand your vocabulary while maintaining a comfortable and clear connection with your partner.

👣 About the teachers
Angela Ruth Manonellas and Andreas Erbsen share more than 27 years of deep dedication to Tango, both in dance and teaching. They are the founders and directors of El Tacuari Tango, an independent cultural space that combines a tango school, live music milongas, and performances, forming an artistic cooperative of dancers and musicians across three generations.
Their training has been guided by renowned tango masters, including Raúl Bravo, Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Esther and Mingo Pugliese, Gustavo Naveira, Olga Besio, Nito and Elba, Pedro “Toto” Faraldo, Osvaldo and Coca Cartery, Ricardo Maceiras, Nora Robles, and Pedro Calveyra, many of whom have been part of or connected to the artistic project of El Tacuari Tango.
They have participated in tango festivals, workshops, and performances in Buenos Aires and across numerous countries in Europe, as well as in Cyprus and Turkey. They have also been invited to perform in some of the most emblematic and prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires.
