Sacadas & Barridas at Bienvenida Milonga

Dive into the World of Sacadas & Barridas – or, Displacements & Sweeps – or, Displacements and Drags... names aside, these are powerfully cool elements of tango dancing! Let's try lots of 'em, and create a smorgasbord of fun moves to improvise with! Each requires a bit of technical skill, so of course we'll go over those skills and smooth out any bumps you encounter. 6:30-7:30 Class Combining Barridas with Sacadas 7:30-8:00 Practice Time 8:00 to midnight: Bienvenida Milonga! Host & DJ Andrew As always, it's $20 for EITHER the class+practice time OR the milonga, and it's just $30 for everything: class+practice+milonga We appreciate cash as we have to divvy it up among a number of parties.
