Joy is different from being “happy.” Happiness is a fleeting feeling, but touching and stirring up joy within our being is a daily practice we claim by fueling our bodies with the proper kindling. Dance, movement, music, laughter, and breath all allow us direct access to joyful states, regardless of what else is present in our bodies and our lives.
