About this Event
Welcome to Sacred Life Retreat! Join us for a deep dive into the magic of the embodied experience, and centering into our authenticity and integrity.
During this retreat we will explore the sacred dimension of life through yogic and tantric practices. The framework for the retreat journey is the exploration of the centers of force (chakras) and the respective dimensions of consciousness in an embodied and experiential way. What are the chakras, what is kundalini, and what do these have to do (if anything) with awakening and embodying wakefulness moment to moment.
We will facilitate a space of allowing the ever fresh unfoldment of the unknown present moment, deep relaxation and expansion. The field of the retreat is created to help the participants to detach from limiting mental structures, and to recognize the sacred chapel of the heart (the center). We explore various methods like yoga, breath-work, somatics, dance, authentic sharing, visualization methods and emotional alchemy to rebalance and recalibrate the various structures of our being.
We learn to let go of identifications and beliefs that limit our ability to perceive reality as the sacred dance that it is.
The practices and methods spring from the long experience of the facilitators in the fields of yoga, tantra, meditation, self-inquiry, dance, movement, integrative psychology, trauma sensitive psychology, breath-work and ceremonial work.
All of our retreats are dedicated to self-connection that supports authentic and meaningful ways of living and relating. Our authenticity is an expression of our freedom: being and acting from what we honestly are. It takes courage and awareness to express and live our core values in relationships, sexuality, work and daily life. In this retreat we will cultivate deep connection, sacredness and well-being on all levels.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRACTICES:
Morning yoga and meditation
We will begin the mornings with varied and gentle movement, allowing the body to warm up and wake up for the new day. Yoga and movement practices are designed to allow free circulation of prana, life force, throughout the energetic body bringing a state of overall balance. The movement practices prepare us for meditation and interrelated practices. For those struggling with sitting meditation, the movement practice offers a wonderful foundation to ground in the body with ease.
Morning/ Evening Meditation
We will practice different meditation methods for self-awareness with and without verbal guidance. We will enjoy both silent sitting (tattva bhavana) and guided tantrik visualization practices as well as interrelated practices like Dyad Inquiry Meditation.
Restorative Yoga and Breath-Work
Evening practice is for centering back to ourselves, calming down the nervous system and taking time to contemplate the experiences of the day. Restorative yoga is gentle, slow paced practice combining easy movements and stillness, loving awareness and deep relaxation. Breath work will further balance and deepen the established meditative state and spontaneously translate the consciousness into a state of meditation.
Tantric Practices
We will explore somatic tantric practices for awakening and rebalancing of the chakras, as well as of deep surrender, allowing life to be exactly as it is. We will also enjoy the practices of ceremonial approaches to daily life that help us ground our awareness to the sacred dimension of life.
Emotional alchemy and integration
Practices include deep self-compassion, letting go of the narratives around painful emotional experiences, direct experiencing of emotions as energy and aliveness, empowering self-responsibility and tracing any experience, however difficult, back to our essence, from where all our emotions arise.
This unconditional and empathic space to experience all of ourselves brings us more and more into wholeness and the sacredness of who we are.
