World renowned “Ataca y Alemana” of Tampa, Florida are in Seoul for 2 nights only as part of their world tour to social dance, perform, & teach their world renowned “Island touch” style Bachata & Salsa! They are among the most booked dance instructors in the world…. we had to book them 8 months in advance just to reserve them for Seoul! :0 If you’ve ever watched a Bachata dance video on Youtube you’ve probably seen Ataca y Alemana. With over 39,000,000 views of their “Te Extrano” performance alone, these guys have become the face of Bachata on the internet! They have performed all over America, all over South America, all over Europe, and this will be their first time in Asia!! The famous Bachata group “Xtreme” has had them perform @ their international live concerts to their song “Te Extrano”! They are both world class dancers in Bachata & Salsa, & the music @ the event will reflect this with 50% Salsa & 50% Bachata. The videos below speak for themselves! Joining them will be Dominican Bachatero Alejandro & his partner Kaori from Tokyo to add Dominican flavor to the Salschata weekend. Alejandro’s Dominican workshops are always popular as he takes the Dominican Bachata footwork and breaks it down in to simple to understand steps. Dominican style Bachata is still new to Asia, but its popularity worldwide is exploding as Bachata IS Dominican music. The party & workshops will be @ 2 clubs near Gangnam station (see map below): Club Mambo on Friday and, the newest Salsa Club in Seoul, “Club Naomi”. Friday: Club Mambo welcome party 9:00-9:50pm Touch Bachata lesson 1, 20,000 (+ 1 drink, cover, and famous "Te Extrano" performance!) OR 10pm- 1am, 15,000 Social dancing party & Te Extrano performance by Ataca Y Alemana. Saturday: Club Naomi workshops & party Dominican Bachata 6:00-6:50 Touch Salsa (intermediate+, On2) 7:00-7:50 Touch Bachata 2 (Bachata Fusion) 8:00-8:50 Advance prices are 25,000 for 1 workshop, 45,000 for 2, & 60,000 for 3 (before Saturday June 16th).
