Jorjet Alcocer is the one of the most versatile dancers in the world known for her Salsa, Pachanga, & most of all her Bachata shines and styling! Her unique dance style has made her one of the foremost Bachata instructors in the world. She even has her own line of dance shoes named after her!!! Jorjet has been featured globally in dozens of countries in South America, Europe, North America, Asia, and this will be her first visit to Korea! Joining her will be Lee Rios, Director & founder of Selmena Dance Company (SDC) which he created in 1999 to “touch, move, and inspire” people throughout the world through dance. He will bring his extensive dance experience in Salsa & Bachata to Korea this November as he performs and teaches with Jorjet Alcocer. Salchata weekender is a weekend of 50% Bachata & 50% Salsa, playing Bachata Urbana & Dominican Bachata along with a mix of vintage Salsa Dura (1970s Salsa) & modern Salsa Romantica. There will be no jazzy Tom & Jerry Salsa music @ Salchata weekender and you will have PLENTY of Bachata music to enjoy!(and maybe a LITTLE Merengue & Cha-Cha!) Bachata is an easy but very sensual dance to learn, Dominican Bachata has many steps that add flavor & variety to the dance. Pachanga is a very unique style of Cuban Shines (solo footwork) that look incredible!! Jorjet is one of most renowned Pachanga & Dominican Bachata instructors in the world!
