WE would love for you to join our training group or performance Salsa / Bachata group. We have exciting opportunities to share with our dance team! We are preparing to travel to Miami to perform and will be training dancers for several months so they can perform with us. In addition we will be involved in many performances locally for various events. SALSA TRAINING TEAM TIME/DAY COMMITTMENT:Team practices will be Tuesday Evenings at 6pm. Everyone auditioned will begin doing training. Our program develops your fundamentals and progresses you eventually to an advanced social and professional style dancer. No need to worry if you don't have the experience or the moves yet, our salsa dance training program was created to give you the skills you will require. Who you will be trained by, Maxwell Aguillar, Mario Acosta 2010 World Salsa Champion and Daiana Moy Sanchez (2002 World Salsa Champion) We also have out of town guest instructors including current World Salsa champions: John Navaris, Paulina Posadas and more... Maxwell Bio, Maxwell is considered one of the best Salsa social dancers in North America. He is know for his smooth style and intricate salsa patterns. He teaches all around Canada. If there is a salsa instructor that you know , Maxwell was probably his teacher. Learn from the instructor to the instructors. Mario"s Bio: A ballroom, salsa, contemporary and flamenco dancer that at a very young age travelled across the world competing and performing for mass audiences. Mario won 4th place at 2010 World Latin Dance Cup in the Professional on2 division. Also with his ballroom partner Diana Lemeshko, both Diana and Mario represented Canada at the 2011 WDSF world Youth latin championships, and in the 2012 National Canadian Championships Adult Latin Championships, they placed 6th in all of Canada. Daiana's Bio- achieved first place in 2002 World Salsa Champion in Miami. Daiana is known world wide in the salsa world and has performed world wide. She has taught most of the instructors that teach in Edmonton. She is also the choreographer and creator of the Brazilian troupe STAR BRASIL.
